Eli Stines, Boone Mayor talks about Monday night's Boone City Council Meeting. Stines said no one attended the required Special Meeting for the levy rate for the next fiscal year. For the regular council meeting, the council reviewed a possible ordinance permitting chickens in the city. The ordinance including some proposed changes by council members. On a 4-to-3 vote the Council directed the completed draft be on the agenda for the Council's April 15th meeting. Aired Tuesday, April 02, 2024
