Watermain Break Discolors Water for some in West Boone

BOONE, Iowa—Boone Public Works reported a large watermain break that affect a portion of the west side of the city Friday. The Public Works Department reported that no City of Boone water customers are under a boil advisory, however some customers may experience discolored water. Other questions concerning the watermain break may be directed to the Public Works office at 515-432-4211 option #2, Monday thru Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
