BOONE, Iowa—Boone Public Works announced Thursday afternoon, plans for painting parking stalls and stripping on Story Street:
Effective Friday, August 30, 2024 at 7:00 a.m., we will be closing the southbound lane of Story Street, and 50 feet west from all intersections from Mamie Eisenhower Ave. to Ninth Street. In order for the layout and painting of the new parking stalls all vehicles will need to be moved. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause Pedestrian access will still be available to all patrons. Please watch for important updates to this project as we are f inishing the last step in this process.
