A pair of West Central conference neighbors faced off in the gym as Ogden hosted Woodward-Granger Tuesday, Sept. 10. The Hawks ended up victorious, topping the Bulldogs, 17-25, 15-25, 16-25.
The Ogden defense was led by Junior Aubrey Leonard who had 18 digs. Additionally, senior Sydney King had one block.
The Bulldogs had a strong night serving 92% as a team, and three players served 100%. Junior Maliyah Sundell was 12 for 12, senior Katelyn Ryan was 8 for 8 and Leonard was 5 for 5.
The offensive output was led with 8 assists by junior Lauren Mathews.
Sophomore Macy Bristle had 5 kills, as classmate sophomore Olivia Coleman had 4 kills.
Ogden falls to 1-2 in conference play and 1-6 overall. The Bulldogs are back in action tomorrow night as they travel to Perry.
