The Ogden volleyball team was victorious over Des Moines East but lost to Perry and Earlham at a tournament Thursday, Sept. 12, in Perry.
The Bulldogs went 1-2, beating Des Moines East, 18-21, 21-15, 15-11. However, they fell to Perry, 21-14, 15-21, 9-15, and lost to Earlham, 21-18, 21-7.
Ogden served well all night, averaging 93.6% over 3 matches. Sophomore Olivia Coleman served 30-32 with 5 aces. Senior Katelyn Ryan was 26-28 from the service line while Junior Aubrey Leonard ended 24-25 with 1 ace.
Sophomore Macy Bristle lead the Bulldog offense with 10 kills for the evening, and senior Sydney King recorded 4 kills. Junior Lauren Mathews had 18 assists over the matches.
Defensively, Aubrey Leonard had 30 digs as Mathews and senior Taydem Graden tallied 15 digs each.
Ogden now has a 2-8 record. Next week, the Bulldogs travel to Des Moines Christian on Tuesday, Sept. 17.
