DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service Office in Des Moines has released information about the potential for strong to severe storms with damaging winds and large hail being the main threats. A tornado or two cannot be ruled out. Most of the stronger storm activity is expected to stay more in Northern Iowa, but activity in Central Iowa can not be ruled out. This storm activity is expected Thursday afternoon and evening.
