BOONE, Iowa—Boone City Administrator Bill Skare Wednesday said there are a couple of minor projects needed to complete the Downtown Story Street Project. Skare was on the KWBG “Tuned In” program and said it shouldn’t take long to get these projects completed. One of the first will begin Thursday with a partial closure at 9th and Story for repairs on the crosswalk on the northwest corner:
Effective Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 8:00 a.m. through Monday, September 30,
2024 at 8:00 a.m., there will be a partial road closure to repair the crosswalk at the NW
corner of 9th St. and Story St.
Use caution in the area or take an alternative route.
