The Ogden football team could not stop Woodward-Granger as the Hawks sprinted off to a 42-0 lead at the half.
The Bulldogs were able to score 3 touchdowns in the fourth quarter but ended up falling to the Hawks, 49-20, on Friday, Sept. 27, in Ogden.
Junior CeJay Jones led the offensive attack and was 13 for 34 with 204 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Junior Cayden Dudley had 6 carries for 33 yards and 1 touchdown.
Dudley also had 5 receptions for 44 yards while freshman Weston Sundell had 3 receptions for 132 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Freshman Tyler Lass had 4 punt returns for 63 yards, and sophomore Brayden Miller scored a two-point conversion.
Defensive stats were not available.
The loss took Ogden to 1-4 overall and 1-1 in district play.
Last week, the Bulldogs were able to score their first victory of the year with a 30-26 win over Grand View Christian in Des Moines.
Next, Ogden travels to Jewell to face South Hamilton (1-3) on Friday, Oct. 4.
