BOONE, Iowa—The Boone Parks Department is closer to completing the installation of new play equipment at Franklin Park. The play equipment is more of an obstacle course acquired from and being installed by Boland Recreation for about $100,000. Once the equipment is installed, a substantial amount of playground mulch will be added.
