BOONE, Iowa—Kading Properties hosted a formal ground breaking on Wednesday at the site of Kate’s Landing, their planned development on the south side of the city. The property was purchased from the city earlier this year. In August, Kading Properties was awarded over $655,000 in tax credits from the Iowa Economic Development Authorities program using workforce housing tax credits to develop housing across the state. Kate’s Landing will have 128 housing units.
Even though a lot of work has started at the site, the formal ground breaking was held Wednesday.
