Ogden falls in tournament consolation bracket

Ogden resumed play in the West Central Conference volleyball tournament consolation bracket on Tuesday, October 15, at Des Moines Christian gym. 

The Bulldogs lost to Panorama, 25-28, 25-13, then lost to Earlham 25-23, 26-24. 

For the evening, Olivia Coleman led the team in kills with 6.  

Camryn Askelsen and Macy Bristle each had 4 kills. 

Miranda Cook had 6 assists, while Aubrey Leonard and Maliyah Sundell had 4 assists each. 

The Bulldogs served better than 90% in both games.  

Leonard was 21-21 with 2 aces, Katelyn Ryan was 12-12 and Coleman was 15-17 with an ace. 

Defensively, Ryan led the team with 17 digs. Ryan recorded 9 digs , and Cook had 7digs. 

At the net, Coleman had 3 blocks while Sawyer Curry and Bristle had 2 blocks each. 

The losses drop Ogden to 7-16 on the season.  

The Bulldogs host Paton-Churdan (3-9) tonight at home.
