The Madrid volleyball team started the post-season with a bang, beating Paton-Churdan , 25-14, 23-25, 25-17, 28-26, on Monday, October 21, at Paton.
For the Tigers, Iyla Fine nailed 10 kills, and Lauren Dvorak had 9 kills
Samantha Springer ended with 22 assists.
On the defensive side, Paige Richards recorded 24 digs while Jillian Olmstead, Dvorak, Lillie Benton had 2 blocks each.
At the service line, Fine went 22 for 23 with 7 aces.
Madrid (2-22) will play Beaman-Conrad-Liscomb-Union-Whitten (28-10) at 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, at Conrad in a Class 1A, Region 5, quarterfinal.
