BOONE, Iowa—The Boone Park Commission spent time planning for new playground equipment at Franklin Park. The equipment has been installed and is already seeing use. The equipment includes some traditional swings which replaced old swings and a Ninja type obstacle course. The purchase and installation was covered with Park Commission capital project funds and grants from the Leonard Good Trust, the Boone County Community Foundation, the Pratt Fenton Trust and private donation.
