BOONE, Iowa—Patricia Smith, 94, passed away Monday, October 28, 2024, at Westhaven Community in Boone.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday, October 31, 2024, at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel, 1006 6th Street, Boone. A private family service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Linwood Park Cemetery, Boone.

Patricia was born September 26, 1930, in Eagle Grove, Iowa, the daughter of Glen and Carol (Johnson) Griffith.

Patricia was united in marriage to Bill E. Smith on April 30, 1950, in Eagle Grove. To this union three children were born, Debbie, Craig and Brody.

Patricia enjoyed going to the bakery to have coffee and a donut. Shopping was her greatest hobby, and looking for the best deal, whether it be at TJ Maxx, Goodwill or any Dollar Store. Patricia was a member of the Purple Hat Society. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill; daughter, Debbie Morris; son, Brody Smith; and sister, Connie Wilson.

Patricia is survived by her son, Craig Smith of Boone; two grandsons, Skyler Smith of Ogden and Chris Myers of Boone; two great-granddaughters, Kennedi (Triston) Thomas of Boone and Jade Myers of Ankeny; great-great-grandson, Briggs Thomas; daughter-in-law, Coke Smith of Boone; niece, Lynn (Dave) Pestotnik of Boone; and a nephew, Troy Wilson of Boone.
