The Ogden girls’ wrestling team came away with 3 victories on Thursday, December 5, at Saydel.
The Bulldogs beat Martensdale-St. Mary’s, 41-16, topped Albia, 42-26 and defeated Saydel, 51-18.
Sydney King won twice at 115 pounds, She won by fall over Gretchen Wearmouth of Martensdale-St. Mary’s and Serene Thompson of Albia.
Sophie Seligman won twice at 125 pounds. She won by fall over Mikayla Sleeth of Martensdale St-Mary’s and Stella White of Saydel.
Hannah Wells won twice at 155 pounds. She won by fall over Fiona Selby of Martensdale-St. Mary’s and won by technical fall over Hayleigh Toelle of Saydel.
Grace Hammer won twice at 235 pounds. She won by fall over Rebecca Olsen of Martensdale-St. Mary’s and Rylie Scott of Saydel.
Tori Alexander won once at 130 pounds. She won by fall over Sydney Ballard of Albia.
Others competing were Rylin Casey at 100 pounds, Carlie Hinderaker at 110 pounds and Makayla Alexander at 170 pounds.
