The Ogden boys’ basketball team jumped out to an early lead but lost steam and ended up falling to Interstate 35, 51-44, on Tuesday, December 10, at Ogden.
The Bulldogs started strong with an 18-6 lead after the 1st quarter. However, the Roadrunners had a good 2nd quarter and were ahead 26-34 at the half.
Interstate 35 continued to pull ahead and led, 41-33, at the end of the 3rd quarter and finished the game 51-44.
Ogden was led by Brayden Miller who had 24 points on 10 field goals and 4 free throws.
Brady Van Sickle had 18 points on 8 field goals and 2 free throws, and Jase Coleman had 16 points on 6 field goals and 4 free throws and 6 assists.
For the Ogden defense, Tanner Rohe had 6 rebounds and 6 steals, and Coleman had 6 rebounds and 2 steals.
Finally, Jordan Benjamin had 6 rebounds.
The Bulldogs are 2-2 (1-1) and the Roadrunners are 2-2 (1-1).
Ogden will face Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center (3-0) at 7:15 p.m. Friday, December 13, at Guthrie Center.
