BOONE, Iowa—Gary C. Wisecup II, 57, of Boone, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2024, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City. Following Gray’s wishes, he was cremated and there will be no services.

Gary was born August 21, 1967, in Boone, the son of Gary Wisecup and Sandra (Shadle) Wisecup. He attended Boone Community Schools and graduated with the class of 1985. Gary had been employed for Earl May, Orscheln, Swan Creek and Fareway.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gary and Sandra Wisecup; grandmother, Bernice Shadle; aunt and uncle, Connie and Doug Shadle; and uncles Charles and Darold Shadle.

Gary is survived by his sister, Cindy Flugstad; three nieces and their families, Ashely Beary, husband Jeremy and daughter, Katelyn; Cassie Bunning, husband Cody, daughter, Baylee, and son, Tate; Jessica Huffman, husband Cody, daughter, Macee and son, Clinton; an aunt, Karen Donovan Howe; uncle and aunt, Hollis and Leah Shadle.
