Boone basketball travels to Bondurant-Farrar

The Boone boys’ basketball team lost to Bondurant-Farrar, 83-42, on Friday, December 20, in Bondurant. 

Braden Brooks led the Toreadors with 23 points on 10 field goals and 3 free throws. 

Reid Carr had 5 points on 2 field goals and 1 3-pointer, while Hendrix Moorman added 5 points on 2 field goals and 1 free throw. 

Carr contibuted 2 assists, and Devin Silbaugh and Brooks had 1 assist each. 

Brooks also led the defense with 5 rebounds.  

Landon Myers had 4 rebounds and 1 block, and Carr grabbed 2 rebounds and 1 steal. 

Boone head to winter break 1-1 in the conference at 4-3 overall. 

Additionally, the Boone girls basketball team opened the night with a loss to Bondurant-Farrar. 

The Toreadors return to action as they take on Winterset Friday, January 3, with the girls at 6:00 p.m. and the boys at 7:30 p.m.
