BOONE, Iowa—Boone County groups have benefitted from grant awards from the Boone County Community Foundation. Various projects in Boone County have received funding from Foundation. In 2024, $175,874 was awarded to 29 County organizations.
Since 2005, $2,103,997 has been distributed in Boone County from this fund to 115 different recipients.
Grant recipients with projects that were funded include: The Grand Heritage Foundation in Boxholm, Iowa Gardening for Good food project, Boone Area Humane Society shelter equipment, Boone Municipal Band, Madrid Tiger Tots and The Ogden Music Boosters.
Any 501(c)(3), not-for-profit, 107b unit of government, or potentially qualifying charitable organization operating in or for the benefit of Boone County is invited to pursue grantmaking objectives and obtain an application from Boone County Community Foundation. The deadline for 2024 grant applications is February 7, 2025.
