The Ogden boys’ basketball team fell to Van Meter, 68-38, in West Central Conference play Tuesday, January 7, in Van Meter.
Van Meter took an early 14-8 lead at the end of the 1st quarter and were up, 34-23, at the half.
Van Meter pulled away in the 3rd quarter, 53-31, and ended up on top, 68-38.
Brayden Miller led Ogden with 13 points on 5 field goals and 3 free throws.
Tanner Rohe added 7 points and made 2 3-pointers while Jase Coleman had 7 points on 3 field goals and 1 free throw.
Thomas Bergstrom had 1 assist.
The defense was led by Rohe who grabbed 4 rebounds. Coleman had 3 rebounds, 1 block and 1 steal and Miller had 2 rebounds.
Ogden is 2-7 overall and 1-5 in the conference. Van Meter is 5-4 overall and 4-2 in the conference.
Ogden will head to Panora to face Panorama (1-8, 0-6) at 7 p.m. Friday, January 10.
