The Ogden girls’ basketball team had a close game against Panorama but ended up losing, 34-30, Friday, January 10, in Panora in conference play.
The Panthers led, 9-6, at the end of the 1st quarter, but Ogden was up, 17-15, at the half.
Panorama regained the lead, 23-20, at the end of the 3rd quarter and ended up winning, 34-30.
Grace Christensen led the Bulldogs with 8 points on 3 field goals and 2 3-pointers.
Kloey Current had 7 points on 2 3-pointers and a free throw, while Sophia Moorman and 5 points on 1 3-pointer and 2 free throws.
Sawyer Curry and Moorman had 2 assists each.
Anna Wilson was strong on defense for Ogden with 10 rebounds, 1 block and 3 steals.
Curry had 7 rebounds, 1 block and 3 steals, and Alena Wilson grabbed 7 rebounds.
Ogden’s record dropped to 1-10 over and 0-7 in the conference.
Panorama improved to 7-3 overall and 5-3 in the conference.
The Bulldogs will host Iowa Falls-Alden (5-6) at 6 tonight in Ogden.
