The Ogden boys’ basketball team chalked up a conference victory against West Central Valley, 48-43, Tuesday, January 10, at Ogden while the girls lost, 55-18.
The boys’ score was tied, 8-8, at the end of the 1st quarter and the Wildcats were up, 25-21, at the half.
However, the Bulldogs pulled through and won the game, 48-43.
Brayden Miller led Ogden with 17 points on 7 field goals and 3 free throws.
Jordan Benjamin and Jase Coleman each added 10 points on 3 field goals, 2 3-pointers and 2 free throws.
Ogden improved to 4-7 overall and 3-5 in the West Central Conference, and West Central Valley fell to 2-10 overall and 1-7 in the conference.
Earlier in the evening, the Odgen girls’ basketball team lost to West Central Valley, 55-18.
They also lost to Iowa Falls-Alden, 64-17, on Monday, January 13.
The Bulldog girls are 1-12 overall and 0-8 in the conference
Next, the boys play Woodward Academy (1-5) at 7:30 p.m. Friday, January 17 in Woodward.
Additionally, there is a non-conference double header against Glidden-Ralston (girls 3-7, boys 6-6).
The girls tip off at 6:15 p.m. and the boys play at 7:30 p.m. Monday, January 20, in Glidden.
