Ogden girls beat Emmetsburg, South Central Calhoun

The Ogden girls’ wrestling team defeated Emmetsburg, 30-12, lost to Manson-Northwest Webster, 36-18, and beat South Central Calhoun on criterion, 31-30, Tuesday, January 14, in Emmetsburg. 

In contested matches, at 110 pounds, Sydney King pinned Lexi Poeppe of Emmetsburg in 1:04 and also pinned Payton Peterson of Manson-Northwest Webster in :36. 

At 235 pounds, Grace Hammer pinned Montana Wilson of Emmetsburg in :46 and also pinned Jesse Kalkwarf of South Central Calhoun in :47. 

At 105 pounds, Trinity Stoneburner pinned Keanna Geerdes of Manson-Northwest Webster in 3:27. 

The Bulldogs head to Perry for a 12-team tournament at 5 p.m. Friday, January 17.
