Behn Sworn In for 91st General Assemby

DES MOINES, Iowa—On Monday, January 13th, Rep. Chad Behn (R-Boone) was sworn into the Iowa House of Representatives on the first day of the 91st General Assembly. The swearing-in ceremony was shortly followed by opening remarks by Speaker of the House Pat Grassley, outlining some of the priorities of the Legislature for the 2025 session.

This is Rep. Behn’s first term in the Iowa House of Representatives.  He serves as the Vice Chair of the Agriculture Committee. He also serves on the Education, Transportation, and Ways and Means Committees, as well as the Agriculture and Natural Resources Budget Subcommittee. 

Rep. Chad Behn (R-Boone) took the oath of office in the Iowa House Chamber on January 13, 2025.
