The Boone girls’ basketball team fell to Gilbert, 53-19, Friday, January 24, in Raccoon River Conference play, in Gilbert.
Bry Morgan led the Toreadors with 5 points on 1 3-pointer and 2 free throws.
Macy Chesnut had 4 points on 4 free throws and 1 assist, and Shannon Jenkins had 4 points on 2 field goals.
For the defense, Maleah Shivers grabbed 7 rebounds and 1 steal while Avery Howie had 2 rebounds.
Boone falls to 5-11 overall and 0-10 in conference play.
Gilbert improves to 9-5 overall and 6-4 in the conference.
Boone travels to Carroll (10-4, 5-4) Tuesday, January 28.
