The Ogden boys’ basketball team found redemption from a 2-point loss against Woodward-Granger in December as the Bulldogs beat the Hawks, 68-52, Friday, January 24, at Woodward.
Ogden raced off to a 21-8 lead at the end of the 1st quarter and were up 30-15 at the half.
The score stood at 51-35 at the end of the 3rd quarter with the Bulldogs winning, 68-52.
Brayden Miller led the Bulldogs with 23 points on 10 field goals and 3 free throws.
Jase Coleman followed with 20 points on 9 field goals and 2 free throws, while Jordan Benjamin had 14 points on 5 field goals, 3 3-pointers and 1 free throw.
Coleman had 7 assists with Tanner Rohe with 6 and Brady Van Sickle with 5.
For the defense, Rohe had 10 rebounds, 1 block and 3 steals.
Benjamin grabbed 1 rebounds while Miller had 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Ogden improved to 6-8 overall and 4-6 in the conference as Woodward-Granger fell to 5-11 overall and 1-8 in the conference.
Earlier in the evening, the Ogden girls’ basketball team lost to Woodward-Granger, 81-7.
The Bulldogs host Coon Rapids-Bayard (13-1 boys, 11-2 girls) in a doubleheader tonight with the girls at 6 and the boys at 7:30.
