The Madrid boys’ basketball team pounded Panorama, 77-30, Tuesday, January 28, at Madrid, in West Central Conference play.
The Tigers started fast and were up 21-2 at the end of the 1st quarter and led, 42-12, at the half.
By the end of the 3rd quarter, it was 62-25, and the game ended at 77-30.
Toryn Severson led Madrid with 19 points on 8 field goals, 1 3-pointer and 2 free throws.
Jevyn Severson was a perfect 9 for 9 for 18 points.
Brody Buck added 15 points on 5 field goals, 3 3-pointers and 2 free throws.
Fabian Ortiz-Alaniz and Emerson Bridgewater had 6 assists each.
Bridgewater led the team with 8 rebounds and 2 steals.
Toryn Severson grabbed 6 rebounds and 5 steals and Jevyn Severson also had 6 rebounds and 2 steals.
Madrid improved to 16-0 overall and 11-0 in the conference while Panorama fell to 2-14 overall and 1-11 in the conference.
The Tigers will host Earlham (10-5, 5-4) at 7:30 p.m. Friday, January 31.
