BOONE, Iowa—The Boone County Road Department has announced that the Union Pacific Railroad will be undertaking some bridge repair work in February. This announcement was released Friday: Union Pacific Railroad will be closing Y Ave starting February 3rd to February 7th for bridge repair work. The road will be closed for the duration of the repair. Full detour signage will be installed prior to road closure.
