DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service office in Des Moines is expecting bitterly cold wind chills for much of Iowa tonight. The coldest temperatures and wind chills will be across northern Iowa. The coldest conditions are expected overnight tonight. Conditions will improve later Tuesday morning into the afternoon.
