The Boone boys’ basketball team fell to Bondurant-Farrar, 69-52, Friday, January 31, in Boone, in conference play.
The Bluejays had a 19-13 lead at the end of the 1st quarter shrink to a 34-30 lead at the half.
However, a strong 3rd quarter for Bondurant-Farrar moved the score to 60-41 with the final score being 69-52.
Tyson Shivers had another double-double with 13 points on 6 field goals and 1 free throw and 11 rebounds and 1 steal.
Braden Brooks added 13 points on 5 field goals and 3 free throws, and Hendrix Moorman added 10 points on 3 field goals, 2 3-pointers and 2 free throws.
Wes Van Pelt and Braden Brooks dished out 2 assists each.
Jude Baumgardner had 3 rebounds and 1 steal while Brooks had 2 rebounds and 2 steals.
The Toreadors fell to 7-9 overall and 3-9 in the Raccoon River Conference.
Bondurant-Farrar improved to 7-8 overall and 7-6 in the conference.
Boone will head to Carlisle (5-11 overall, 2-10 conference) on Friday, February 7.
