Second Historical Railroad Presentation of the Season, Saturday at the James H. Andrew Railroad Museum

BOONE, Iowa—The second historical railroad presentation of the season will be this Saturday when Cate Kratville-Wrinn, Railroad Historian and Speaker will present a free Power Point program called “Railroad’s Own Renaissance Man-Bill Kratville” at the James H. Andrew Railroad Museum (on the Boone & Scenic Valley Railroad campus), Saturday, February 8th at 2:00 p.m. at 225 10th. St. Boone, Iowa. This will be an “in person” and “live” ZOOM program.

Kratville-Wrinn’s program will highlight her remarkable Father and railroad author Bill Kratville. He spent a lifetime photographing, owning, repairing, and writing about trains and Cate will have many unknown interesting stories to tell including his part in creating Amtrak. Bill spent more than 40 years being heavily involved with the railroad. Be sure to see this revealing and interesting bit of U.S. railroading history.
