Timing for these events include  Round 1 this afternoon and evening with a quick 1-2″ of snow by and during the evening commute. For many it will result in difficult travel. Round 2 tonight through Saturday, expect additional snow accumulations with the highest amounts in a band of snow with a tight gradient, currently forecast in central Iowa and the Interstate 80/Highway 30 corridor, though uncertainty remains on exactly where this band will occur.
