The Boone boys’ swimming team had one runner up and two events finish in the top 8 as it made a splash at the state swim meet last weekend. 

Isaac Clark was runner up in the 50 free, finishing 2^nd in 20.63. 

Clark also placed 7^th in the 100 back in 52.66. 

The 400 free relay of Carson Muggenberg, Warren Williams, Simon Enabnit and Clark finished 6^th in 3:09.39. 

Williams and Muggenberg also competed in the 100 free. 

Williams finished 12^th in 47.61, and Muggenberg finished 13^th in 47.66. 

Boone finished 15^th as a team with 64 points.

The Iowa High School Athletic Association State Swimming Meet was held Friday and Saturday, February 14 and 15, at the University of Iowa’s Campus Recreation and Wellness Center in Iowa City.
