Madrid girls fall to rated Lynnville-Sully

The Madrid girls’ basketball team fell to Class 1A, No. 11, Lynnville-Sully, 54-20, Tuesday, Feb. 18, in Lynnville in Class 1A regional play. 

Jillian Olmstead led the Tigers with 9 points on 4 field goals and 1 3-pointer. 

Lauren Dvorak had 8 points on 4 field goals. 

Samantha Springer had 3 points on a 3-pointer. 

The Tigers end the season 7-16 while Lynnville-Sully improves to 17-5. 

Laura Eagleton ends the season with 267 points. 

Dvorak had 141 points, and Springer had 115. 

Audrey Brown led the Tigers in assists with 50. 

Dvorak led the defense with 175 rebounds. 

Olmstead grabbed 145, and Eagleton had 143.
