BOONE, Iowa—Boone Public Works today announced a ban on Commercial Vehicles, including garbage trucks, in non-paved alleys in the city. The ban goes into effect Thursday morning until further notice:
Due to early spring conditions, the City of
Boone Public Works will close all non-paved
alleys to commercial vehicles. This includes
garbage trucks and dump trucks. The closure
will be effective at 1 am Thursday, March 13th,
2025 until further notice.
