DES MOINES, Iowa—Even with a blizzard in the middle of last week, rain and snow did improve drought conditions in Iowa. Drought conditions across the state this week dropped to 56.4% down from last weeks 72.7%. An area in Central Iowa saw improvement as a large portion dropped from Moderate Drought to Abnormally Dry. With precipitation Friday and Saturday and again the middle of next week.
