BOONE, Iowa—Teresa “Terry” K. Dearborn, 66, of Boone, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the Eastern Star Masonic Home in Boone. Cremation has taken place and a private service will be held at a later date.

Terry was born January 3, 1959, in Boone, the daughter of Emmett and Joyce (Mitchell) Dearborn. She enjoyed watching cooking shows, doing crosswords, and wanted to learn how to crochet until her health wouldn’t allow it. Terry found the most enjoyment being with her dogs and was a lover of all animals in general.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Keith Dearborn.

Terry is survived by her three children, Tanya (Bob) Matt of Boone, Tina Hughes of Omaha, NE and Rocky (Alissa) Hughes of Boone; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Mark Dearborn of Ames and sister, Lisa Dearborn of Boone; and nieces and nephews.
