Carly Busch was runner-up in 2 sprints as the Boone girls’ track team competed at the Central College Indoor meet in Pella Friday, March 21. 

Busch placed 2^nd in the 60-meter dash in 7.94 and placed 2^nd in the 200-meter run in 26.64. 

In the shot put, Jen La Mar placed 5^th with a throw of 34-09.75 while Emma Wiebold was right behind in 6^th place with a throw of 34-09.50. 

Meleah Shivers finished 10^th with a throw of 32-07.75 

Noelle Johnson placed 9^th in the high jump with a jump of 4-08. 

Mia Graeve was 16^th in the long jump with a jump of 14-08. 

Avery Howie finished 17^th in the 60-meter hurdles in 10.27. 

The 4×200-meter relay of Piper Klein, Tala Wittrock, Mia Graeve and Avah Hayes finished 20^th in 2:03.20.
