The Madrid boys’ track team traveled to Adel-DeSoto-Minburn for the Early Bird Co-Ed Meet Thursday, March 27.
The 4×100-meter relay of Loken Velky, Jacob Farrell, Jake Sawyer and Tyler Sonnenfelt placed 2nd in 44.29.
Easton Halverson placed 3rd in the long jump with a jump of 18-09.50.
The 4×800-meter relay of Blake Renze, Caleb Berberich, Henry Hudnall and Kris Peterson placed 3rd in 9.18.37, and the shuttle hurdle relay of Will Atkinson, Kinnick Grimm, Velky and Brody Buck also placed 3rd in 1:05.80.

No team scores were kept, and four teams, ADM, Madrid, Gilbert and West Des Moines Dowling Catholic, participated.
Next week, the Madrid boys and girls run at Earlham Tuesday, April 1.
