Maddox McIntyre was the top individual finisher for Boone Thursday, March 20, at the Central College Indoor Meet in Pella.

State Senator Jesse Green, Legislative Review. Green talks about the past week in the Senate and some of the legislation is working on. He spoke a little about a House File coming to the Senate that deals with Highway 30 and DOT Planning. He said he expects to hear from constituents about the legislation. He is the Chair of the Senate's Education Appropriations Subcommittee and he talked about the move to eliminate the Federal Department of Education. Aired Friday, March 21, 2025.

John Roosa, Administrator, Boone County Landfill and Boone County Recycling updates information about the landfill. They are back to being open every Saturday. The first Saturday in April they being taking household hazardous waste for a couple of hours in the morning. He did emphasize if it's a large amount of qualifying hazardous material, other arrangements may be necessary. He also says yard waste will be accepted at no charge on April 17th, every Thursday, Friday and Saturday to the end of May. Aired Wednesday, March 19, 2025.
