The Boone girls’ soccer team scored a 10-0 victory over Webster City in its home opener Tuesday, April 1.
The Toreadors scored 5 goals in the 1st half and added another 5 goals in the 2nd half.
Emmalyn Thomas led the team with 4 goals.
Delaney Good added 3 goals, and Macy Chesnut also scored 3 goals.
Good led the team with 3 assists, and Kaylee Chesnut had 2 assists.
Thomas, Macy Chesnut, Morgan Chesnut and Gracianne Stern all added 1 assist.
Ava Johnson had 2 saves.
Boone starts the season 1-0, and Webster City begins 0-1.
The Toreadors will host Newton (0-2) Friday, April 4, at Goeppinger Field.
