The Ogden boys’ track team won 2 events and placed 4th in the Ram Early Bird meet Friday, April 11, in Jefferson.
Jude Benbow was champion in the 1,600-meter run in 4:49.44 and was a part of the winning 4×800-meter relay.
The 4×800 of Thomas Bergstrom, Benbow, Myles Tromblay and Brady Van Sickle finished 1st in 8:31.42.
Tromblay was 2nd in the 1,600 in 4:55.49, while Van Sickle finished 2nd in the 400-meter hurdles in 58.09 and Bergstrom was runner-up in the 800-meter run in 2:15.20.
The 4×200-meter relay of Jude Klith, Shane Sellers, Vandon Roosa and Tyler Lass finished 2nd in 1:38.30.
Roosa placed 3rd in the 100-meter dash in 11.98 and was a part of the 4×100-meter relay, which also finished 3rd.
The 4×100 of Klith, Brayden Miller, Roosa and Ryker Kruse finished in 46.02.
Ogden placed 4th as a team with 93 points, while Forest City won the meet with 139 points.
The boys next travel to Gowrie for the Southeast Valley Invite.
The meet was rescheduled from today to tomorrow due to the wind.
