The Boone girls’ track team competed at the Jim Duncan Invite Saturday, April 12, at Drake Stadium in Des Moines.
Emma Wiebold had a 3rd-place finish in the discus with a throw of 122-07.
Carly Busch finished 3rd in the 100-meter dash in 12.65 and also finished 3rd in the 200-meter dash in 25.87.
Maleah Shivers was 8th in the shot put with her throw of 34-00.50.
The 4×100-meter relay of Mia Graeve, Avery Howie, Taylor Arringdale and Bush finished 11th in 51.85.
The 4×400-meter relay of Mady Davidson, Piper Klein, Avah Hays and Bry Morgan finished 13th in 4:30.58.
