The Boone girls’ track team won 5 events at the Madrid Invitational Tuesday, April 15, at Madrid.
Four individuals won their events with Avah Hayes taking first place in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:14.71.
Carly Bush won the 100-meter dash in 12.29, and she also won the 200-meter dash in 26.16.
Emma Wiebold won the discus with her throw of 123-11.
The 4×100-meter relay of Mia Graeve, Avery Howie, Taylor Arringdale and Busch won in 52.66.
Two events were runners-up with Jen LeMar finishing 2nd in the discus with her throw of 117-08.
The sprint medley relay of Halle Bailey, Mia Graeve, Maddy Davidson and Howie placed 2nd in 2:02.44.
Four events placed 3rd for the Toreadors.
Graeve was 3rd in the 100 in 13.39, and Bry Morgan was 3rd in the 400-meter dash in 1:06.38.
LeMar placed 3rd in the shot put with a throw of 34-02.50.
The 4×200-meter relay of Arringdale, Tala Wittrock, Howie and Busch placed 3rd in 1:55.33.
Boone placed 3rd with 164 points, and Roland-Story won the meet with 255 points.
