The Boone soccer teams faced rated teams from Gilbert and lost both games Tuesday, April 22. 

Boone boys lost to Class 1A, No. 3 Gilbert, 2-0, at Goeppinger Field. 

Boone had 6 shots and 3 shots on goal for the evening, and Ben Seligman had 10 saves. 

The Toreadors fell to 2-2-2 on the season, and Gilbert improved to 4-0-1. 

Girls lose at Gilbert 

Boone girls lost 6-1 at Class 1A, No. 8, Gilbert. 

Kaylee Chesnut scored 1 goal with Macy Chesnut receiving the assist. 

Ava Johnson had 24 saves. 

Boone fell to 2-4-2 overall and Gilbert improved to 4-2-1. 

The teams will play Bondurant-Farrar Friday, April 25. 

The girls will host Class 2A, No. 11, Bondurant-Farrar (3-2-3) at Goeppinger Field, 

The boys will travel to Bondurant to face the Bluejays (3-5).
