Eli Stines, Boone Mayor, talks about the Boone City Council meeting Monday. The Council did received an updated Housing Needs Assessment done by Mid-Iowa Planning Alliance. The last Housing Needs Assessment was done in 2023. The most recent report shows improvement in numbers but there’s still a need for more housing to meet both lower and higher lever earners.
