Boone Mayor, Elijah Stines, talks about this week’s City Council Meeting. Stines said several actions were taken by the Council. The first he mentioned, the swearing in of a new police officer. Cale Naeve has joined the department to fill a vacancy created by the deployment of Officer Riley Bryant. He noted the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference has become on of the top conferences as far as program success and says it continues to expand.
