Steve Struve

KWBG 08/01/24

WOODWARD, Iowa—Steven Paul Struve, 72, of Woodward, Iowa, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024, at his home under hospice care with his children by his side in Woodward.

Steve Struve, son of Paul and Beverly (Wilson) Struve, was born on July 30, 1951 in Perry, Iowa. Steve graduated from Woodward High School with the class of 1969. He then enlisted in the Navy and served on the submarine USS Remora. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening and was a lifelong Woodward resident.

Steve was preceded in death by his father, Paul and mother, Beverly. He is survived by his sister Nancy Kimrey, daughter Marianna (Michael) Kerley, Stephanie (Steve) Windom, Michelle Yakel and Nathan (Nicole) Struve, 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

A graveside service for Steve will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 5, 2024 at Peoples Cemetery in Woodward.
