BOONE, Iowa—Dale Schoening has been the Chairman of the Committee planning the 30th Annual Iowa Municipal Band Festival. The Festival was started 31 years ago, but was cancelled in 2020 due to COVID. Last year, the Festival returned, but with some limited participation, again due to COVID. This year, Schoening says the slate of bands participating is full and includes a number of new participants.
