BOONE, Iowa—The Boone County Chamber of Commerce passed along thanks this week with their online news and events update. The Chamber, Boone County Farm Bureau, Boone County Iowa State University and Extension and the Boone County Pork Producers served up Breakfast Burritos to Go last Thursday. The event has been an omelet breakfast, but changed this year because of the drive thru concept. Numerous businesses also provided support for the event with proceeds going to fund 4-H and FFA Scholarships. The Chamber reported 200 burritos served.
